Responsibilities:

Kronos currently has an opening for a Strategic Marketing Director who will be a vital part of a newly formed Market Performance team that has been tasked with  creating a fact driven set of metrics to track Kronos market performance over time, and using these metrics to foster discussion, drive change and grow share.  This person will lead a cross functional team that will track Kronos performance across multiple dimensions including but not limited to: Awareness, Consideration Rate, Win Rate, Net Promoter Scores, and Market Share. The person will also work with Kronos’ Corporate Development team to assist in targeting and analysis of acquisitions, and members of the marketing staff to design and implement key marketing performance benchmarks.

  • Develop overall project plan for Kronos Market Performance Project

 

  • Develop, execute, and analyze quantitative market surveys targeted at tracking  Kronos performance vis-à-vis our competitors.

 

  • Conduct qualitative interviews (with customers, prospects, sales personnel, etc) to understand qualitative dimension of Kronos market performance – summarize results for management.

 

  • Identify sources of internal Kronos data that can be used to measure performance -- work with functional areas to develop or modify existing business processes to collect data that will facilitate an in-depth analysis of Kronos key business drivers.  

 

  • Lead cross functional team to develop market performance scorecard – support management in presentation of data to Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

 

  • Support Kronos’ Corporate Development efforts as needed by providing insights into key market dynamics, competitive trends, and Kronos performance – participate and support diligence efforts when required.

 

  • Work with Kronos senior marketing staff as needed to develop and analyze key performance indicators that can be used to track performance of the marketing organization.

 

  • Effectively communicate research results and make the appropriate strategic recommendations

 

  • Present research and analysis objectively and thoroughly


Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience
  • 2 – 4 years’ work experience in similar role
  • MBA preferred
  • Ideal experience: strong analytic skills, strategic thinker, knows how to work a project and get things done.  Up to two years strategy and analytical work at B2B company or consulting firm.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills.
  • A results oriented track record.
  • Strong leadership experience.
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems and delivering meaningful results.
